Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate
and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to
one simple question: What are you doing?
This new phenomenon is also referred to as "microblogging". A post is limited to a maximum of 140 words and is delivered real time to your cell phone or the web.
Just sign up to "follow" someone (or a bunch of someones), make sure you have unlimited text messaging with your wireless carrier, and Twitter away.
After four weeks or so of Twittering, the maximum benefit and enjoyment is realized through text messaging. The web updates are only for couch potatoes or those poor souls stuck to their desk all day long.
I have added the cre:ate Twitter to the column on the right for the duration of the conference/thinktank that begins Monday.

Does anybody know the term "Twitter-pating"?? Or am I just old(er) than most of you?
