WCW - Dreams Do Come True
Eleven years ago I had a dream. I am a dreamer, you see. It is something I do.
A place where creatives could gather with peers and be encouraged, refreshed and given the opportunity to diffuse ideas. A place where artists of renown could gather shoulder to shoulder with artists yet to be discovered. A safe place. An influential place for influencers of influencers. A place that would never hold large numbers, but rather small, intimate cohorts of leaders and artists. A place to dialogue with the world's greatest creatives. A place to cre:ate.
cre:ate has evolved far greater than my dreams could have EVER conceived. Artists of renown have gathered. Artists such as: Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Mac Powell & Mark Lee of Third Day, Rebecca St. James, Lisa Welchel, SonicFlood, Matthew West, Mark Stuart of Audio Adrenaline, Ken Davis, Mike Lewis, Desperation Band, Leeland, Brock Gill, Keith Getty, Stuart Townend, Downhere, MuteMath, Nicole C. Mullen, Bebo Norman, Rush of Fools, Dan Poythress, Matt Maher, Brenton Brown, Eddie DeGarmo, Steve Hindalong, Steve Fee, Kim Hill, Anointed, Margaret Becker, Vicky Beeching, Tammy Trent, Jill Paquette, Ben Glover, The Darrens, Mark Shultz, Shaun Groves, By The Tree and many more.
Speakers such as: Hugh Hewitt (Author, Blogger & Talk Show Host), Rick Dempsey (Walt Disney Films), Dean Batali (Exec. Prod. That 70's Show), Len Sweet, Kurt Bruner (author), Dr. Thomas Parham, Jon Tyson, Dr. Louis Markos, Michael Hyatt (CEO, Thomas Nelson), Angela Elwell Hunt (author), Barbara Nicolosi (Act One Screenwriting Company) and many more.
This dream comes alive every year in Feburary, the Monday after the Super Bowl, in the cultural center of Franklin, Tennessee. Over 175 alumni have gathered over the past nine years and over 125 are expected this year with an absolute cap of 150. Three groups of no more than 50 each.
Gourmet meals, surprises, hundreds of dollars of swag, free Caribbean cruises and just plain 'ole pamperin' are the order of the week. Multiple Grammy Award winners sitting next to arts directors of churches as small as one hundred attenders. A magical place called cre:ate. Join us and live the dream.
Do you have a dream? Dream a little HERE.
