I completed this watercolor today for my first assignment as artist-in-residence at O'More College of Design. I was inspired talking to students Josh and Andy today about the possibilities of computer enhancement of my watercolors, so I did an experiment. Tell me which one you prefer. The first is my original watercolor and second is a digital enhancement of that same watercolor utilizing Photoshop.
The great thing about gathering the courage to be around so many gifted young adult artists is they help you see things in a new way. Scary but fun as heck! Much like mentoring. The reciprocal benefit is extraordinary.
It was fun meeting so many students today including Shima, Two, Carly, Anastasia, Josh, Andy, and Courtney as well as many staff members, faculty and board members.
